World Shooting Championships circa 1952
His
favorite and only hobby was hunting and shooting at the shooting club
at which he was a very active member. He hunted in season's ducks,
quails and doves.

King
Farouk commissioned Antoine Selim Nahas to build the actual shooting
club, which he did but refused payment for his work. In return King
Farouk give him the title of Bey, which Nahas never expected as was
typical of his low key attitude.
He
collected high grade European shot guns and his arsenal included guns
such as Purdeys, Holland and Holland, Boss, Merkels, Lebeau Courally and
Francot. He traveled all over Europe participating in shooting
competitions. Mostly in: Rome, Vichy, Spain.
